Hindu Push-Up

Upper body Advanced

A flowing push-up that dives from downward dog to upward dog, working the shoulders and chest through a wide mobility-rich arc.

How to do a Hindu Push-Up

  1. Start in an inverted-V pike with hips high and hands shoulder-width.
  2. Bend your elbows and swoop your chest down and forward, skimming close to the floor.
  3. Continue forward into an upward-dog position with hips low and chest lifted.
  4. Reverse the motion by pushing your hips back up into the pike.
  5. Move smoothly and keep your core engaged throughout.
