An advanced isometric hold in a dished shape that maximally loads the rectus abdominis and deep core.

How to do a Hollow Body Hold

  1. Lie on your back and press your lower spine firmly into the floor.
  2. Tilt your pelvis, brace your abs, and squeeze your glutes together.
  3. Lift your shoulders, arms, and straight legs a few inches off the ground.
  4. Reach your arms overhead to form a long, dished body shape.
  5. Hold the position, keeping your low back pinned; bend your knees to regress.
