Kettlebell Swing

Full body Intermediate

A ballistic hip-hinge move that builds explosive glutes, hamstrings, and grip while spiking the heart rate.

How to do a Kettlebell Swing

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, the kettlebell a step in front of you.
  2. Hinge at the hips with a flat back and grab the handle with both hands.
  3. Hike the bell back between your thighs like snapping a football.
  4. Snap your hips forward explosively to swing the bell up to chest height.
  5. Let the bell fall as you hinge back again, keeping the arms relaxed and the core braced.
