A high plank with alternating hand-to-shoulder taps that trains the core to resist rotation.

How to do a Plank Shoulder Tap

  1. Start in a high plank with hands under shoulders and feet hip-width apart.
  2. Brace your core and widen your stance slightly for a stable base.
  3. Lift one hand and tap the opposite shoulder, then return it to the floor.
  4. Repeat on the other side, alternating hands with control.
  5. Keep your hips square to the floor and resist any twisting.
