Pulse Squat

Legs Intermediate

A squat held low with small pulsing reps that maximizes time under tension to burn out the quads and glutes.

How to do a Pulse Squat

  1. Lower into a squat with thighs near parallel, chest up.
  2. Stay down and rise just a few inches.
  3. Sink back to the bottom in a small, controlled pulse.
  4. Keep constant tension, never fully standing between pulses.
  5. Maintain knees tracking over toes and heels planted.
  6. Continue pulsing for the interval, then stand.
