A lateral bounding move that builds single-leg power, balance, and glute strength like a speed skater.

How to do a Skater Jump

  1. Start in a slight squat balanced on one leg.
  2. Push off explosively and leap sideways to land on the opposite foot.
  3. Sweep the trailing leg behind you and reach the opposite hand toward the floor.
  4. Land softly with a bent knee and stick the landing for a beat.
  5. Bound back the other way and keep alternating.
