A quadrupedal crawl that builds core stability, shoulder strength, and coordination while moving on all fours.

How to do a Bear Crawl

  1. Start on all fours with hands under shoulders and knees under hips.
  2. Lift the knees a few inches off the floor to hover in a flat-backed tabletop.
  3. Move the right hand and left foot forward together, then the opposite pair.
  4. Keep your hips low and back flat, gazing down between your hands.
  5. Crawl forward and backward without letting the hips rock side to side.
