A classic step-forward lunge that trains the quads and glutes while challenging balance and coordination.

How to do a Forward Lunge

  1. Stand with feet hip-width apart, hands on hips or at your sides.
  2. Take a controlled step forward with one leg.
  3. Bend both knees to lower your back knee toward the floor.
  4. Keep your front knee over your ankle and chest lifted.
  5. Push off your front foot to return to the start.
  6. Alternate sides with each repetition.
