Push-Up

Upper body Intermediate

The classic full-body pressing move that builds chest, shoulder and triceps strength while bracing the core as one rigid plank.

How to do a Push-Up

  1. Start in a high plank with hands slightly wider than your shoulders.
  2. Squeeze glutes and abs so your body is a straight, rigid line.
  3. Bend your elbows to about 45 degrees and lower until your chest nears the floor.
  4. Drive through your palms to press back to the top.
  5. Keep your neck neutral and hips from sagging on every rep.
